Aspire
Need help figuring out how to get injured employees back to work?
Aspire can help. A Behavioral Health Assessment provides a snapshot of a patient's medical and physical status and how the injured worker feels and thinks. The evaluation includes a series of assessments to:
- Measure important aspects of cognitive functioning,
- Identify current physical demand level capabilities,
- Determine the presence of non-organic signs/symptoms, symptom magnification syndrome, or chronic pain disorder.
With this information, you can determine the employee's risk level for chronic disability and make recommendations for treatment that might expedite the rehabilitation and return to work process.
Suitable candidates for referral include injured staff who are covered by BrickStreet or other WV workers compensation coverage insurance companies and meet any of the conditions listed below. They:
- Have been off work for 3 months or longer.
- Experienced a lack of progression with treatment.
- Do not have a definitive diagnosis for failure to recover.
- Demonstrate resistance to being released to return to work.
- Have increasing office visit requests for medication or testing.
- Are preoccupied with pain.
To make a referral, fax a request or call. We will handle any required authorizations and appointment scheduling.
